Vito lives in North Hollywood with his wife Lydia. He moved from Texas to California in 2013, where he and Lydia have established their niche in the city of angeles. They both teach karate part time, and Vito is a professional fiddle and tenor banjo player. He plays with several bands full time, including The Ploughboys, Whiskey Sunday, The Straytones, and Riamh. Austrian economics, writing, and practicing the banjo occupy whatever time is left over.
